Partner With Us

Your church can help people facing homelessness, rebuilding their lives in addiction recovery, or starting again after incarceration. Together, we can offer practical help and share the hope of a new beginning in Christ.

What Your Partnership Makes Possible

Your church's support helps provide structured housing, employment connections, and support for people facing homelessness, pursuing addiction recovery, or returning home after incarceration. It also helps provide transportation to detox when someone is ready to seek treatment.

Ways Your Church Can Partner

  • Pray:  Lift up the people we serve, our staff, and the ministry.
  • Give:  Become a routine supporter (annually, quarterly, monthly) or receive a special offering.
  • Serve:  Arrange a meal, volunteer project, or collection of currently needed items.
  • Connect: Help open doors to employment and other resources.
  • Invite: Welcome Christ City of Refuge to share with your congregation, small group, or missions team.

Invite Us to Your Church

We would love to share what God is doing through Christ City of Refuge and how your church can be involved. Invite us to speak with your congregation, missions team, Sunday school class, or small group.

Become a Recurring Ministry Partner

Recurred giving helps sustain safe housing, support for people rebuilding their lives, and transportation for those in need. We invite your church to consider a recurring commitment that fits your missions budget.

Our Programs

Life Transformation Residential Program

Christ City of Refuge provides free, structured transitional housing for individuals and families working to rebuild stability after homelessness, addiction, incarceration, and other crisis situations. The program is designed around accountability, consistency, and personal responsibility.

Residents are required to maintain employment, follow program guidelines, participate in the daily structure of the program, and actively work toward long-term independence. This includes maintaining a clean living space, contributing to shared responsibilities, and saving $300 of their income each week with the program.

In addition to housing, residents receive practical support such as transportation to work and appointments, guidance in obtaining identification and driver's licenses, case management services including financial and life skills education, and connection to recovery and community resources. The program is not designed as long-term housing, but as a structured environment where individuals can stabilize, rebuild habits, and prepare to transition into independence.

Transportation Program

Transportation is a core component of Christ City of Refuge's work and addresses one of the most significant barriers in our rural community.

The program provides reliable transportation for individuals in our residential program to ensure they can maintain employment, attend recovery meetings, and meet required appointments. Without this support, many would not be able to sustain progress.

In addition, Christ City of Refuge operates a community-based transportation effort that assists individuals in crisis who are not yet part of the residential program. This includes transporting individuals to detox facility, rehabilitation programs and safe shelter placements. These transports often happen at critical moments when immediate access to services can determine whether someone enters recovery or returns to a harmful situation.

This dual approach - supporting both residents and individuals in immediate crisis - allows us to remove barriers quickly and connect people with the help they need when it matters most.

Help Someone Find Support

If someone in your church or community is facing homelessness, pursuing addiction recovery, or preparing for life after incarceration, have them fill out an intake HERE. Our residential program requires an intake review and may have a waiting list; however, we will do everything we can to find help for them when it is needed. You can also contact us about transportation to detox.
